Up-cycle mittens with Sarah Scoville

Up-cycle mittens with Sarah Scoville

from 40.00

Give worn-out sweaters a second use by transforming them into warm mittens.

Up-cycling, also known as creative reuse, is the process of transforming waste materials or unwanted products into new materials or products of better quality and environmental value.

Sarah’s favorite sweater had gotten too warn out to wear as a sweater. So, she figured out how to up-cycle the fabric into mittens and would love to share what she learned with you. Please join us either with an old sweater (or two) or without (we will also provide some great thrift store finds).

No prior up-cycling or sewing experience required.  You will go home with a warm cozy pair of mittens.

$40 – bring your own sweater

$55 – use one of our sweaters
